The moment of the adventure was approaching ... the Camino de Santiago ... an experience that today is unforgettable, We remember her as never before with our family and friends.
First we organize ourselves and we plan the way, choosing in this way for the Portuguese way, for being the closest to us, so we took our backpacks and started walking. The most beautiful everything is the effort that is being made every day and the support and companionship that is forged along the way, Both of you and the rest of the pilgrims, that is why it is an experience that we all have to live.
We already know how the experience is lived, now we want you to live it, for this reason We want you to have a GOOD WAY and share it with us, because your rest, for us, is essential.
The Way
The Road of SantiagoThe Road of Santiago
The route enters Galicia through Tui, crosses O Porriño, continues towards the city of Redondela, then to Caldas de Reyes and arrives at Padrón, distinguishing in this way 6 stages, which are understood as follows
Access to Galicia is through the International Bridge that connects the towns of Valença and Tui crossing the Miño River. Tui one of the capitals of the old Kingdom of Galicia, declares in 1967 historical artistic set. The charm of this beautiful city makes us breathe every one of those streets, alleys and passages of the nobility in the historic area through which the road passes, is characterized by a medieval urban layout presided over by the Romanesque and the Gothic in the majestic Cathedral of Santa María. The itinerary continues through the town hall square, the Clarisas convent, and Tide and Antero Rubín streets. You can enjoy later the mall and panoramic view of Tui and the church of Santo Domingo.

The International bridge of Tui, built in iron in 1884 by Pelayo Mancebo, disciple of Gustave Eiffel, its walkway is a magnificent viewpoint. Between the bridge and the historic center, there is a river promenade next to the Miño, which is not a step of the Camino but worth visiting at sunset. In the highest part of the city, the urban center evokes to perfection the aspect of the city during the Middle Ages and the Modern Age. Of the wall of the XIIth century a section is preserved and the Porta da Pía or Pescadería next to Obispo Lago Street. Part of the walled enclosure of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, raised during the wars with Portugal, is also visible from the riverwalk. The Cathedral of Santa María de Tui, begun in 1120 (Romanesque) and later adapted to the new Gothic style, dominates the old area with its double vocation as a church and fortress. Its cloister (SXVIII) is the only medieval symbol that is conserved and in its interior highlight the chapel of Santiago, with an altarpiece of 1696, work of the sculptor Tudense José Domínguez Bugarín. The Diocesan Museum of Tui-Vigo located in the old pilgrim hospital. The convent of the Poor Clares or of the "encerradas" (S XVII and SXVIII). The churches of Santo Domingo and San Bartolomeu de Rebordanes, former monastery where Diego Xelmírez stayed.
At 7 km from Tui is worth visiting the Monte Aloia Natural Park in which there is a great wealth of fauna and flora, as well as stunning views of the city of Tui and the River Miño and surroundings.
